UliMana - The Review

My Dear Friends,

I was fortunate enough to get to try some products from UliMana.

What is UliMana, you ask?

Handmade, vegan, raw chocolate truffles, raw chocolate brownies, raw chocolate-dipped date rolls, nutritive cacao spreads, hot chocolate mixes, and super-food treats!

Made with raw organic ingredients such as raw cacao powder, agave or honey, cacao butter, vanilla beans and Celtic Sea Salt, these delectable raw treats are as healthy as they are delicious! Cacao is rich in antioxidants, magnesium and phenylethylamine (PEA), also known as the "love" chemical. PEA is a natural mood elevator and helps with focus. Agave nectar is the low-glycemic sweetener recently recommended as the 'healthiest sweetener' by Dr. Mehmet Oz on the Oprah Winfrey show.

Look at how healthy their products are for you!

I was sent the Tao of Cacao sampler to try.  It features Organic Figs, Organic Dates, Organic Pecans, Organic Cashews, Organic Agave, Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Lemon Essential Oil, Organic Coconut, Organic Vanilla Beans, and Celtic Sea Salt®.
Contents:  Lemon Fig Bar, Chia Moon Drop, Goji Cherry Truffle, Dark Truffle, Hemp Nut Brownie and Chocolate Apricot Walnut.

I can say this:  Oh My Goodness.  I have honestly never tried something that was this good knowing it was this good for me! Since it's hot as Hades here in the South, my sampler arrived a bit melted together.  Did I care?  Of course not, it's chocolate for crying out loud!  How diverse was this little box!?  Who came up with these wonders?

There are six different pieces in the box.  Both the Chia Moon Drop and the Lemon Pecan Fig Bar contain coconut, which I am allergic to, so I asked a friend to try.  They loved both of them, although the Lemon Pecan Fig bar was the favorite of the two, due to the lovely lemon flavor. The Goji Cherry Truffle - yummy truffle rolled in Goji berries!  The Hemp Nut Brownie - made with hemp protein & walnuts!  The Dark Truffle stood out due to the strong flavor of the dark chocolate. Lastly, the Chocolate Apricot Nuts...I personally love chocolate in fruit, dried or fresh.  Yum!

For $14 a pack, it may seem expensive to you...but think about it.  The product is worth the price.  These are all-natural, vegan, healthy ingredients.  What you're putting in your body is 100% good for you.  Everyone could use a little of that.
