Tasty Tuesday - Newman's Own Organics

My Dear Friends,

I knew that the amazing people at Newman's Own Organics were going to send me a review package, but I had no idea it would be this many goodies!  Thank you!  Newman's Own Organics is an amazing company.  Did you know that Paul Newman has given over $300 MILLION to charities since 1982?  That's impressive, to say the least!

Here's a little bit about the Product Certification & Packaging:

Certified organic by Oregon Tilth. Ingredients have been grown on farms that have not used artificial fertilizers or pesticides for three years or more. The farms and processors have been certified by an independent third party. Kosher certification by Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America, 333 Seventh Avenue, New York.

The front of each product features an American Gothic "Pa" Newman and daughter Nell in appropriate costume with an accompanying legend on the package; each variety has a color band or colored packaging for easy identification.

By clicking on the "Fun Facts" section, you can see what goes in to every single item that Newman's Own Organics makes!  All the info. is laid our right there for you!

I labeled everything that was sent to me so that you guys could check it all out!  I honestly haven't had a chance to to try everything (they sent so much!!) but everything I have tried has been really wonderful.  I especially like the Ginger Mints....in case you didn't know, Ginger is a natural helper in motion sickness and upset stomach.  Eating Ginger can help settle your stomach!  Needless to say, I think I will like the Ginger Newman-O's & Ginger Hermits as well!

All the Licorices tasted exactly how you would expect them to....like licorice!  The taste is exactly the same to your regular store bought brands...you can't tell the difference!  But these babies are organically made, so they're better for you in the long run!

The Espresso Chocolate Chip Cookies were probably my favorite, aside from the pretzels.  I loves me some pretzels.  Espresso plus chocolate --- yes please!

The Chocolate Newman-O's taste just like Oreo's, but with a chocolate filling, so if you're a fan of those like I am, you will LOVE these.  Chocolate on chocolate.  Yum!

The Soy Crisps reminded me of rice cakes, very light and airy.  Great flavor too!  I had the Original and BBQ flavors, and I was not disappointed.  I was actually surprised, I never thought I would like things made out of soy.  It just goes to show, I guess, that you can't judge something before you try it!

I still have a couple of things to try, but overall, I've been extremely impressed by this company.  A company that strives to make wholesome, organic foods, while using their company to do good in the world!

From Their Website:

"We want to offer organic food products with wide consumer appeal […] We feel that people want to know more about the food they eat, not just how much fat or cholesterol a product contains. How ingredients are grown and processed on the way to their grocers' shelf is becoming more important to today's consumer. Once people see how much organic foods have improved since the early days of packaged `health' foods, we hope they'll try other organic food products."  --Nell Newman

*Thank you to Newman's Own Organics for providing me with the content described above for review.  The products were given free of charge, yet no money was given and the reviews are my own opinions.
