The Fairy Hobmother Visits!

My Dear Friends,

I've read about the Fairy Hobmother through various blogs but never in my wildest dreams did I think he'd ever visit me!  I was sitting here, checking my email like I do every morning, and lo & behold, there it was....an email, just for me.  My little blog, recognized by the blogworld famous Fairy Hobmother!

I can tell you one thing, it made my day!  Here's a little back story, in case you are unfamiliar with the Fairy Hobmother.  He flies all around the interwebs, visiting bloggers and their websites to grant them with surprise.  Imagine, someone out there spreading random acts of kindness, just because they can.  How wonderful is that?

Other than the amazing work he does for bloggers, he also has a day job at Appliances Online, selling freezers & other appliances like washers, ovens...and hobs!  I thought to myself, why the name "Fairy Hobmother"?  I looked it up and a hob has two meanings:
hob n
  1. {Cookery} the flat top part of a cooking stove, or a separate flat surface, containing hotplates or burners
  2. {Folklore} fairies that are somewhat mischievous

You learn something new every day!   Would you like the Fairy Hobmother to visit you as well?
All you have to do is leave a comment below.  He reads them, you know, and he might just come visit you!

*I received compensation for this post (a $40 Amazon.com gift card) in
exchange for mentioning the Fairy Hobmother.  All opinions are my own.
Thank you, Fairy Hobmother & Appliances Online.
