Camera Coats (Review/Giveaway)

My Dear Friends,

In life, it's best to be prepared.  I've learned this the hard way, many times.  A long time ago, I had this camera, which I loved, but had the worst luck with.  I used to carry it in my pocket a lot, as I was always taking pictures.  Well, long story short....this poor camera was put through hell.  I sat on it once & cracked the screen, I stepped on it once and cracked the screen, I had a friend kick me in the tush once...and you guessed it, cracked the screen.  Camera repair is very expensive, so I needed to come up with a more cost effective alternative to a constant repair bill.

I am not by any means an expert photographer, but it's always good to be prepared in case a photo opportunity presents itself!  Like I said, by necessity, I've had to upgrade my camera toting skills.  You can only imagine how incredibly excited I was to find a new company called Camera CoatsThey make absolutely gorgeous “coats” for your camera to be stored in, while you carry it around your neck, on your shoulder, or any other place you can think of!

"In February of 2010 we took a family trip. If you have kids you know how that is...bags, strollers, carseats, blah, blah... Since we were flying, our hands were especially full. I wanted to take my Nikon SLR, but did NOT need another bag to carry onto the plane and didn't want to check my little bundle of joy. (Anyone nodding their head about now?:))
So, I went into problem solving mode. I had made a little fabric bag/holder/protector for my 6 year old's video game and decided my camera was more important...so I threw my camera in it, put it in the diaper backpack, and off we went.
It was life changing I tell you. My camera was protected and I didn't have to haul another bag around!
I kept that little cover on my camera (wearing it around my neck) as we went to the beach, the Magic Kingdom, and everywhere else. I was in love. My little "coat" protected my camera from the bumps of crowds, kids spills, sun, rain, snow, sand, and anything else that came my way.
My friends wanted one. And thus, began our journey with Camera Coats. We hope you love them as much as we do!"
