{Sponsor Spotlight} Vecco Studio

My Dear Friends,

I love anything creative.  If I can draw it, paint it, glitter or glue it - I'm down for the challenge.  When I discovered Vecco Studio and their awesome & unique rug kits, I thought that it would be a great project to do with my god-daughter!  She's got the creative bug just like me, and this would be a great project for us to do together.

Just what is Vecco, you may ask?  Vecco is a painting technique for creating rugs and carpets that are inspired by you.  Using stencils, colorant sprays and sealants, you get to make your own design come to life!

Get inspired with the wide selection of stencils and get started!  You can use pieces and shapes of the stencils to invent your own patterns plus there's even blank stencils you can use to cut your own designs.  Simply choose a combination of colors that work with your artistic vision and spray onto your rug through the stencil.  Use your sprays to combine colors for new hues, or create a freehand design if you so choose!

Make a mistake? No biggie. Just vacuum up the color and start again before you seal.  Nothing’s set in stone until you use the sealant, so you can design as many times as you like until it’s just right!  Once you're happy with your design, spray it with sealant and the colors will bond to the rug or carpet fibers to make it permanent.  Sounds fun, huh?

There are many different kits to choose from, but I liked these two the best:

    • One Jazzy Dot stencil (10”x10”)
    • One Better Basics Circle stencil (10”x10”)
  • Kit can be used to create the three pattern combinations shown, or used to create your own custom pattern with the stencils provided.

The Stay! Don't Ginkgo! kit includes:
