Mesothelioma Awareness Day

A really nice guy named Cameron Von St. James contacted me a few weeks ago and asked if I could share a post about Mesothelioma awareness for Mesothelioma Awareness Day (September 26th) in hopes that it would bring enlightenment to those of us (myself included) who didn't know a whole lot about Mesothelioma.

Cameron's wife Heather is a Mesothelioma survivor.  She was diagnosed eight years ago.  Only three months after the birth of their daughter Lily, Heather was given the devastating news that she only had 15 months to live.  Today, Heather is not only surviving but thriving, thanks to life saving surgery.  Not one to sit on their laurels after receiving such a blessing, Cameron, Heather and Lily have made it their mission to educate and spread awareness of Mesothelioma.

In honor of the 10th Annual Mesothelioma Awareness Day and Heather's brave fight, I am spreading the word as well!  You can learn about Mesothelioma cancer, Mesothelioma treatment & even check out Heather's personal Mesothelioma awareness page.  Feel free to follow Heather on Facebook or Twitter as well.  Thank you to Cameron, Heather & Lily for letting me help spread awareness!
